Prepare for your hypnosis session
The more relaxed you are, before and during your session, the easier it can be to go deeply into the theta state – the best place to access higher information and healing.
I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you have before you book a session. We’ll also spend time getting to know one another and discuss any remaining questions when we meet.
Rest
Try to get a good night’s sleep the night before.
Limit caffeine or any kind of stimulant before the session. That makes it easier to relax and go more deeply.
Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not appropriate for the session and interferes with your experience.
Eat
Eat somewhat lightly or moderately beforehand.
The session will last several hours, so you’ll want to feel nourished, but not weighed down by your meal.
Dress comfortably
You’ll be lying in a bed, as if you were taking a nap (and will be even more deeply relaxed and refreshed than that).
Questions to address (QHHT session only)
Make sure to bring your questions! They’re vital during a QHHT session.
There’s no need for me to see them before the session.
Learn more about creating your list of questions.
Snacks/water
Feel free to bring something to eat and drink (preferably water) to ground yourself after the session.
You’ll most likely be hungry.
After the session
Don’t make any plans for after the session. It’s difficult to know how long it will take. You won’t want to be rushed.
We’ll also take time to process some of what happened in the session.
